Strawberry Pretzel Salad Fluff

A delicious and refreshing dessert perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (12 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (6 oz) package strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  4. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  6. In a separate bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in sliced strawberries.
  7. Pour strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a variation, try using other types of berries.
  • Make sure to let the dessert chill long enough for the layers to set properly.
