  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gradually beat into the creamed mixture.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool completely before frosting with coconut mixture.
  8. To make the frosting, mix shredded coconut with powdered sugar and spread over the cooled brownies.
