- 2 pounds chuck roast
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 green onions, sliced for garnish
- In a bowl, mix garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker and pour the mixture over the top.
- Pour the beef broth around the sides of the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
