Seafood Lasagna with Shrimp and Crab

This delicious seafood lasagna features a delightful combination of shrimp and crab, making it a perfect dish for any seafood lover.

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups crab meat, fresh or canned
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, crab, ricotta cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the seafood mixture, half of the mozzarella, and some marinara sauce.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, remaining marinara sauce, and mozzarella on top.
  7. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and cover with foil.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add fresh herbs like parsley or basil to the filling.
  • Make sure seafood is cooked before layering in the dish.
