- 1 head cabbage
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the cabbage by removing the outer leaves and carefully cutting out the core.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crisp, then chop.
- In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and garlic until translucent.
- In a bowl, mix the ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, sautéed onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Form patties from the mixture and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cut cabbage into ‘buns’ and place a turkey patty in between two cabbage leaves.
- Drizzle with olive oil and top with cheese if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the turkey is fully cooked.
