Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese, Nutella, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let them cool before frosting with Nutella cheesecake frosting.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate Nutella.
