  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ice cream sandwiches

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk.
  6. Pour half the batter into a greased baking pan and layer four ice cream sandwiches on top.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the sandwiches and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes
