  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn, frozen or canned
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into pieces.
  2. In the same skillet, cook the ground turkey until browned.
  3. In the crock pot, combine the cooked turkey, turkey bacon, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, and salt.
  4. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve warm.
