Garlic Herb Shrimp and Sausage Stuffed Cabbage Cups

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound sausage, casings removed
  • 1 head cabbage, leaves separated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic.
  3. Add sausage to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  5. Stir in parsley, basil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Remove from heat and set aside.
  7. Fill each cabbage leaf with the shrimp and sausage mixture.
  8. Place filled cabbage cups in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  10. Serve warm.
