  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned.
  2. Transfer the beef to the slow cooker. Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
  5. In the last hour of cooking, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry; add to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
