  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  3. Add butter and eggs; mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, then cool.
  7. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks.
  8. Fold in caramel sauce and chocolate chips.
  9. Spread the mousse over the cooled cake layer.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
