  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in zucchini slices, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the beef mixture, ricotta, and cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
