Cheesy shrimp stuffed shells bake: An indulgent family favorite

CHEESY SHRIMP STUFFED SHELLS BAKE

Ingredients

  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink, then remove from heat.
  5. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, cooked shrimp, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff each cooked shell with the shrimp mixture and place in a baking dish.
  7. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider topping with fresh basil before serving.
