- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 large potatoes, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, then half of the cooked beef, followed by half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with the cheese on top.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the soup mixture over the layered ingredients in the baking dish.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
