  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out the biscuit dough and cut it into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and seal.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with caramel sauce and a mixture of powdered sugar and milk before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add nutmeg with the cinnamon.
  • Can be made ahead and frozen.
