Mountain Dew Ice Cream Recipe

A creamy, citrusy homemade Mountain Dew ice cream that’s fun, refreshing, and perfect for summer dessert lovers!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) heavy cream, chilled

  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk, chilled

  • ¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1 cup (240 ml) flat Mountain Dew, cold

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and salt with milk until fully dissolved.

  • Stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract.

  • Add flat Mountain Dew and mix until smooth.

  • Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  • Pour into an ice cream maker and churn for 20–25 minutes until soft-serve consistency.

  • Transfer to a freezer-safe container, press parchment over the top, and freeze for 4 hours or until firm.

  • Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

  • Ensure soda is completely flat before using to avoid icy texture.

  • Optional: Add food coloring or lime zest for color and freshness.

  • Can be made with sweetened condensed milk for a no-churn version.
