4 cups water
3 green tea bags
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Ice cubes
Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Boil the water in a medium pot.
Add green tea bags and ginger slices to the hot water, and steep for 5–7 minutes.
Remove tea bags and ginger, then stir in honey while the tea is warm.
Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix well.
Cool the tea to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
