Lemon Ginger Iced Green Tea with Honey

Ingredients

  • 3 green tea bags
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  • Boil the water in a medium pot.
  • Add green tea bags and ginger slices to the hot water, and steep for 5–7 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and ginger, then stir in honey while the tea is warm.
  • Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix well.
  • Cool the tea to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
