Garlic Butter Shrimp and Creamy Parmesan Rice

A delightful dish combining garlic butter shrimp served over a bed of creamy parmesan rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the rice and chicken broth, bringing to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until rice is cooked.
  7. Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and stir to combine.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
  • This dish can be made ahead and reheated.
