¼ cup breadcrumbs
1 lb ground beef
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper
2 cups French onion soup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
½ cup shredded Swiss cheese (optional)
Instructions
Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into 20-24 meatballs.
(Optional) Brown meatballs in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side.
Place meatballs in the slow cooker.
Mix French onion soup, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Pour over meatballs.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
Sprinkle with Swiss cheese during the last 10 minutes. Let it melt.
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
Notes
Browning the meatballs adds extra flavor but is optional.
Use low-sodium versions of soup, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce if needed.
