- 1 bag (14 oz) Nacho Cheese Doritos
- 1½–2 pounds ground beef
- 1 can (10¾ oz) cheddar cheese soup
- 1 can (10¾ oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
- 2–3 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
- 1 packet taco seasoning (optional)
- Optional toppings: sour cream, diced green onions, cherry tomatoes, avocado or guacamole, salsa
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning, if using.
- Stir in cheddar cheese soup, cream of chicken soup, evaporated milk, and green chilies. Heat until bubbling.
- Lightly crush half of the Doritos and spread in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spoon half of the beef mixture over the chips and sprinkle 1 cup of cheese on top.
- Repeat with remaining Doritos, beef mixture, and shredded cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Add toppings if desired.
Notes
- Don’t crush the Doritos too fine—leave large chunks for texture.
- You can swap in ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- Customize with beans, corn, or jalapeños for added flavor.
- Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat in oven or microwave.
