For the Bread:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Filling:

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

For the Icing:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients for the bread in a bowl.
  3. Combine milk, butter, egg, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Mix wet ingredients into dry until just combined.
  4. Mix cinnamon filling ingredients in a small bowl.
  5. Layer half the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half the filling, and repeat. Swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Prepare icing by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Drizzle icing over the cooled bread.
