- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and oil. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Grease a cake pan and pour half of the chocolate batter into the pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top, then pour the remaining chocolate batter over it.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
