Chocolate Cheesecake Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup cornstarch

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 large egg

  • (Optional) 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.

  • In another bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until smooth.

  • Add egg and mix well.

  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet and stir until dough forms.

  • Scoop dough onto sheet and bake 10–12 mins.

  • Cool for 5 mins before transferring to rack.

  • Soften butter and cream cheese before mixing.
