Cajun Chicken Sloppy Joe

A spicy, savory twist on classic Sloppy Joes, featuring Cajun-seasoned ground chicken and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground chicken
– 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
– 1 cup tomato sauce
– 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1/2 cup chicken broth
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 4 sandwich buns, buttered and toasted
– Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Cook Chicken: Brown ground chicken in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
2. Season and Simmer: Add Cajun seasoning, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and chicken broth. Simmer for 10-12 minutes until thickened.
3. Toast Buns: Butter and toast sandwich buns until golden.
4. Add Cheese: Stir shredded cheddar into chicken mixture until melted.
