  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cups cooked white or brown rice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
  • Add diced bell peppers and onion. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic powder, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add cooked rice to the skillet and mix thoroughly.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve warm.

  • Use day-old rice for the best texture.
  • Adjust spice levels with red pepper flakes or sriracha.
