  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
